OPEN POSITIONS
OPEN POSITION: 2D ANIMATOR (Remote)
We are looking for 2D character animators to join its team on animation projects for children. Our goal is to build and maintain a real partnership with capable and driven individuals and/or a team of animators, as we have a variety of ongoing projects.
Responsibilities:
-
to create dynamic animated character performances;
-
to create animated sequences that meet the quality standards and schedule;
-
to ensure works are communicating clearly from blocking through to final animation.
Requirements:
-
Adobe Animate and/or Moho experience with an impeccable understanding of Animation Principles;
-
Experience in 2D Character Animation for television, film, and/or a demo reel displaying the required skills;
-
Professional attitude towards work, deadlines, feedback, and colleagues;
-
Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize work coupled with excellent written communication skills;
-
Drawing and Rigging skills would be a bonus.

OPEN POSITION: STORYBOARD ARTIST (Remote)
Job Summary:
-
Creating the storyboard of a 3-min animated film (thumbnail/rough storyboard panels) and its animatic video based on scenario.
Responsibilities:
-
Working closely with the director, asking questions & discussing story objectives, translating script into visuals,
-
Pitching boards to the director and crew & revising based on notes and feedback,
-
Meeting deadlines and relaying progress along the way.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum of 3 years storyboard experience,
-
Knowledge and experience with animation production pipeline,
-
Ability to align with style and sensibility of show,
-
Be fluent in the principles of animation, especially those pertaining to staging, composition, framing & character acting,
-
Strong in action, emotional storytelling, character interaction and cinematography,
-
Ability to draw characters and environments on model within show style,
-
Strong sense of humor,
-
Ability to write clear and specific direction on storyboards,
-
Solid and consistent time-management skills,
-

OPEN POSITION: CHARACTER DESIGNER (Remote)
Job Summary:

Visualizing and developing the look of animated characters of the project.
Responsibilities:
-
Developing various versions of the character looks,
-
Infusing characters with personality using visual cues, unique expressions and distinctive body language,
-
Understanding the character’s role in the script and drawing it accordingly,
-
Collaborating with the director and other artists to create a visual consistency with other characters and overall look of the project,
-
Creating model sheets showing characters drawn from different angles and showing different expressions.
Qualifications:
-
Strong drawing skills, with a specialization in character design,
-
Ability to draw in a variety of styles,
-
Knowledge of anatomy and zoology, costuming, physical settings and history-related references associated with character,
-
Solid awareness of facial expression, pose, posture, gesture and movement,
-
Visual storytelling skills,
-
Solid understanding of visual language - texture, color, dimension, scale, perspective, shade, composition, depth of field, proportion etc,

Good communication skills, ability to explain concepts and support artistic choices,
-
Excellent time management skills, ability to consistently meet deadlines,

Team player, skilled at working independently
-
Knowledge of the animation process.
